Two high school students are found dead, stoking fears amongst the student body and surrounding community of a serial killer on the loose. Yet summer is approaching, and the future is fraught with uncertainty—if only things could go back to normal for just a while longer. Instead, the heightened police presence prevents Pola from dealing at school while her best friend, the typically discreet Daniel, resists increasingly morbid impulses. News crews speculate about the Bloody Batter, triggering PTSD and fueling paranoia. Meanwhile, evil has its own plans.

MORE ABOUT THE BOOK
MAKING OF
Slash Them All was originally a fanzine self published and posted online during my art school years. Three issues of around 30 pages each where realeased and printed on paper from 2014 to 2017.

Pages from first issues and tries were entirely redrawn for the 2021 final book. Some of those early pages were just too different when the book took shape. They were expelled from the final story. Here are some sample of those lost ones, some made back in 2012.

Printed fanzines featured watercolors illustrations of the story main characters and scenes. At first, those pictures were considered to serve as cover artworks for the fanzine plublications.

STORYBOARD & RESEARCH

All pages were drawn by hands with pencils on paper, in grey scales. During Covid Lockdown and for teasing the upcoming release of the book, I posted short videos on Instagram that documented the whole process on final pages (drawing, scanning, cleaning…)
